As one of the ten negotiated briefs for the first half of the year, within Design Practice III, Claudia Griffin, Kirsty Alderson, Kirsty Cave, and I, have decided to work together on the collaborative competition brief of designing the BA (Hons) Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern degree book, 2013, more information of which can be found on  my Design Context blog.

Today, we had the opportunity to meet up, discuss ideas, and, most importantly, to write the brief.

- Photography (Ourselves? Also have connections to Jessie Leong in LCA Photography, etc)
- Interviews/Profiles- Make it PERSONAL, interview each person for the most insight and potential for prospective clients
- Use tactile print methods that reflect the nature of the course- flocking, screen print, etc
- Consider locality- Large print industry within Leeds, Tigerprint in Bradford, etc
- 'Notable achievements' section- Placements and awards
