PROBLEM ANALYSIS

RATIONALE (What is the problem you intend to solve?)

Create a series of 5 alternate 'Black swan' film posters which work as a series, experimenting with both illustrative and typographic design to attract contemporary film goers and audiences aged 18-30 years old.

WHO NEEDS TO KNOW? (Who is your audience? Be concise- no more than ten words)

My designs will be targeted at young film goers aged 18-30.

WHAT DO THEY NEED TO KNOW? (Be clear and specific)

I will focus my design outcomes on attracting young, contemporary audiences to the film with unique, conceptual, and eye-catching designs which reflect the themes and subject matter of the film and ballet itself.

WHAT WILL THEY RESPOND TO? (How will they connect/understand the outcome?)

To be informed and persuaded by the film poster designs by understanding the concepts of the film and ballet in a more in depth and conceptual way.

WHAT RESEARCH IS REQUIRED? (What do you need to know in order to complete the brief to it's fullest potential?)
