Starting to work on my tasks to complete throughout reading week, I returned to my to-do list for networking and design opportunities. Having already subscribed to D&AD and YCN (although my D&AD membership has apparently expired- free membership, need to discuss what to do with tutors about this), I went on to ISTD (International Society of Typographic Designers)- again, to find that membership is not only slightly confusing, but a little more expensive than I can (unfortunately) afford at this time- still, connected with D&AD and YCN, following on Twitter and other networking sites, so hopefully this will start to open up good opportunities, ISTD a definite consideration for my future practice and one to watch.
