Lovin' Leeds: Designating work throughout the group.

Having decided upon our multi-cultural food fayre theme, we each designated ourselves countries to research, and particular points of interest to research and source.
Myself- Greece and Belgium
Joe- Mexico and China
Kirsty H- Jamica, S.Africa
Kirsty A- Japan, India
Chris- Italy, Australia
Dom- Spain, Russia
Max- France, Portugal
Lewis- America, U.K
Alex- Holland, Singapore
Sarah- Thailand, Sweden

We decided that we would research the brief cultural history of the countries, as well as local dishes, food-related competitions (and foods we could reproduce as "the world's largest..." as a hook for the hungry public!)

Also, I will personally go on to research the companies and the restaurants within Leeds we could possibly contact to work alongside of us, promoting their companies and country's cuisine (with a great deal of diversity and range of global foods throughout the city centre). We went on to develop the idea to create a strip street party- lined with tables and chairs all the way down the Headrow, and then each "country" coming off from the main strip..."Portugal Row", "Russia Row", "Japan Row", etc.
