Creating quick mock-up designs of our ideas discussed today- turning the concept and history of april fools' day into an april fool itself- a practical joke/lie within itself.
After researching the history and origins of April Fools' Day (information found on my design context blog) I had responded to this information in as believable way as possible (whilst, in some cases, being ridiculous too!)...
A lie developed from a true story- from questionnaires, a sign of a good lie- when developed from a truth. Using the live trace tool to create an illustrator image of prime minister david cameron from a secondary source photograph- using blue to represent the conservative party he stands for, as well as helping the image "pop" and draw attention if acting as a poster design.
