BRIEF (What is the problem you intend to solve?)
Creating an illustrative and informative publication/guide and promotional print pack to the history of The Oscars including fact files, winning films, actors, actresses, etc.
The promotional pack will include printed material such as a sticker set, book, and printed posters.
WHO NEEDS TO KNOW? (Who is your audience? BE CONCISE)
My promotional printed media will be aimed at a young, contemporary audience of film fans aged 18-30.
WHAT DO THEY NEED TO KNOW? (BE CLEAR & SPECIFIC)
I will particularly focus on visual information and providing an insightful guide specific to the interests of film enthusiasts.
WHY DO THEY NEED TO KNOW?
To be entertained and informed by the history of The Oscars.
WHAT WILL THEY RESPOND TO?
I will present visual imagery through a collectors edition book, a sticker book (to track the winning Oscar films shown), along with an actor/actress poster series.
WHAT RESEARCH IS REQUIRED?
- Full research into the history of The Oscars.
- Collect photographic images of actors, actresses, and film stills to work from, and develop illustrations.
- Research luxury packaging
- Research type and layout
- Research existing designs and illustrations for inspiration.
