Design Practice III//University of Leeds Ballet Society Meeting II.
Notes from today's meeting with Carys and Steph, the President and Treasurer of the University of Leeds Ballet Society, in regards to our pre-booked meet-up session, discussing the development of the existing branding and the next steps towards completion of the brief.
//
NOTES
- Good development of the logo so far, clear, communicative, bold- would work well over a range of media.
- Want to explore something more gender neutral, with two males in the society this year, ribbon type 'O' or 'B' (for ballet?) as an icon with type- see notebook for images, explore outcomes and generate more feedback.
- BY NEXT WEEK... More idea development, send over a 'Final 5' for submission and feedback. THEN... One more week to make minor changes/aesthetic edits, etc.
- In two weeks, have the finalised logo ready to print.
- Look for embriodery companies (hoodies) at competitive rates (see email from Carys re existing manufacturers).
- Look for different type of hoodie printers, screenprinting- matt finishes?
- Make a big cartel online shop to sell hoodies onto.
- Search dates and deadlines for print for delivery by 1st December.
