Yesterday, whilst looking into potential printing methods for the Jessie Leong Photography business cards, I started to attempt to source thick, robust acetate of around 300-600gsm. However, when talking with James, the print technician at Uni, I learnt that acetate is in fact measured in microns, one micron being equivalent to around 6gsm, which will be something to look for as I continue with my experimentation and sourcing of appropriate stocks and printed media substrates.
More design development and research can be found on both my Design Practice and Design Context blog.
