This morning I've largely been working on preparing and printing some mock up photo business cards for Jessie Leong Photography in order to have some visuals prepared for tomorrow's crit session with the peer group and tutors.
Whilst preparing the 25 various designs, the one card that really stood out to me was the black and white portraiture, which I felt would tie in wonderfully to the black and white classically bold branding that Jessie and I have discussed if we were to go on to drop the idea of working with the difficult-to-source acetate stock (see previous blog posts for more details!), and could easily be applied over print and digital design, having a "hover over" option on her website to see the designs in colour, which I think could be a really bold and surprising element for the viewers and/or potential client, as well as giving her brand more of a focused visual identity, on bold, classic, fashion portraiture.
