What If...Research and Group Meeting.


This afternoon, our group had a long-awaited group discussion about the process of the project, and any ammendments that needed to be taken at this stage.

Points included:
- Re-evaluating and changing the brand name. A few of the group members (including myself) felt that the name "Where the Hell is Leeds?" , sounded to negative and deroigatory to the city- and feedback we had recieved from others showed that others felt the same way.
I suggested the name "When in Leeds..." (from the phrase "When in Rome...Do what the Romans do"), as I felt this clearly represented our aim- to show people the "real" side of Leeds, what the native Loiners would do, the places they would go to to relax, or to have a night out.
The name was taken up, along with the tagline "5 star entertainment", as we decided to create reviews of particular venues/places, and the "5 star" sign assures (an opinion of) quality.

The group then went on to specify and discuss certain areas of entertainment we would look at, including the particular places we wanted to review, from good personal experiences, reputation, etc...

We will now go on to write personal reviews and recommendations for these venues, along with primary/secondary source photographs to accompany the written pieces.
