Quick designs and developments for a re-group and design focus in tomorrow's free session with the group.
I was designated with making designs for 'The Banana Split' and Faux Gateaux...plenty more to come...
My favourite design so far is the second from the bottom- a crisper version of my original design, whereupon the illustration is made more of a feature- inspired by the design of fellow groupmate Liam. I also like the star rating summarising the April Fool at the top of the page- looks far more design-focused, and critique like (a practical joke review!)
Another quick design- this time for 'Faux Gateau'- again, the same sort of style as the images above (one that I am familiar with, and therefore ~resorting to~ with this short time frame of design development and idea generation. This illustration being more simplistic, bold and stencil-like may be more appropriate for an info-graphics like guide. Perhaps one to consult with people outside the group, gauge a response to the design?
Looking forward to re-grouping tomorrow to see the visual outcomes we have followed...
I would really like to see these images not only printed out in booklet form, but also perhaps as wall charts or posters- perhaps with the information on the back- easily distrubted and posted and visually appealing- could make a nice wall poster design for an amateur prankster.
