Basic Design Ideas.

After a group talk with Sadie and Liam this afternoon, we knew that we had to work on a "house style" (largely to be interpreted by Liam, as top designer) and that we needed to consider the two colours plus stock requirement- here, I just generated a few sample ideas (the stock colour being the circle to the left of the set)- using both bright and pastel colours.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER:

-do the colours work well together?
-do they clearly represent and interpret our message?
-do the colours compliment one another?

A really simple ten minute mock-up to visually demonstrate a rough idea of the content we aim to display through our booklet/e-reader....

important points to consider...

-type used
-the style of image
-consistency of image, what content?
-colours used (2 colours plus stock requirement)
-double page spread
-layout and composition
-book crafts- what format?
-square format? (most likely- dicussed this as a group, like the bold, child-like framing- well suited to the geometric-like vector style we aim to produce).
