Design developments in reflection of the feedback in the last peer crit, looking at developing a more representative colour palette for the hypothetical Orange Juice 2013 'Rip it up' tour and the print and digital collateral.
I began by swatching colours from orange juice and oranges themselves to get a fresher, and more visually communicative colour, and then went on to find appropriately matched PANTONE colours, that were also web safe, in order to ensure my design outcomes for digital application are as professional as possible (creating a web design mock up and considering app design development for proposed ticket purchasing).
Despite only being a small change, I'm far happier with the colour palette at this point and feel that the more vibrant colours would also work more effectively in regards to outdoor advertising and to fit the quirky, indie-style of the music produced by the band themselves in their heyday.
