Design Practice III//Jessie Leong Photography Thank You Postcards.

Really pleased this evening that I've managed to focus and produce some work from start to print, albeit  something quite simple, it was good to see that now the branding is firmly in place, the design process can, hopefully, move along quite swiftly, and I will begin to be able to tie up all the loose ends of the Jessie Leong Photography project and look to developing work for the other significant briefs within the module.

Tonight I re-edited images for the 'Thank You' postcard designs- an informal, yet consistently-branded method of distribution for Jessie to write a personal note to contacts she has made throughout the year to say thanks for working with her, or helping her with her work on various occasions (location shoots, wardrobe, MUA, etc), again, uploading images through moo (as we are aware of the high quality and affordability of the prints) with the B&W photographic imagery on reverse.

What I quite like about the postcards is that we decided to break convention by going for a portrait-orientation of the design, which ties into the portrait orientation of all of Jessie's existing printed media, in her business cards and letterhead designs.

Hopefully doing something a little different will help Jessie to stand out from the crowd, yet remain consistent and faithful to the brand image and printed collateral.
