Design Practice II//YCN/Graze//Graze product colour palette.

As well as from my own visual links and interpretations of colour and the symbolism they hold in significance to our rebrand and identity design for Graze (along with all of the promotional print material that we aim to produce), I felt that it would be a good idea to go onto the site and to pick colours from the products themselves- therefore, a natural link to the brand.

To keep the swatch generation fairly minimal, I decided to only select the first images from the main product page (which would then direct you through various links onto the wider selection of products available within that particular range).

As expected, many of the colours were far more neutral than we had currently considered working with, though there were the few, great vibrant colours that really stood out- particularly in the bread swatches and tropical mix, which really communicate the fun and energy that we and promoting Graze to be as a brand, and hopefully moving them away from the slightly dull or mundane image they are attempting to move away from.
I feel that the swatch for 'bread' (as featured below) would work wonderfully in combining with the brown kraft card/paper stock that we hope to continue using (and is currently used by the Graze company for their stock choice in design print and production) and is not too disimilar from the colours that I was considering (as shown in my previous post)... definitely need to start applying these to designs as soon as possible!
