Design Practice II//YCN/Graze//PPI (Printed postage impressions) & Intellectual property.

One of the visual elements to consider on our Graze box was the postage paid stamp- what, after researching (see images above) I discovered to be known as the PPI stamp, which you could go online and create by typing in the company's PPI licence number. I hoped that we could have produced an editable file, though, unfortunately only black and white TIFFs or JPEGs could be produced (in a variety of sizes, in both English and Welsh) so instead I went on to trace the design and use Helvetica Regular (with a 0.5pt stroke) to emulate the text- slightly editing the stroke of the 'R' so that it was more rounded, and resembled the typeface used on the PPI stamp (which, after trying to research the original typeface used, I unfortunately still couldn't find online)- see my Design Practice blog posts for application of this vector on our final and working designs for the Graze box net.
