Good Is//Design Production for Print//Colours.

After a bit of a printing trauma in the last couple of days, I've unfortunately had to combine several different printer outcomes- something I wanted strongly to avoid- however, unsatisfied with items printed in Friday's session with James in the digital print room, I've had to make a comprimise with printing the mailshot box design onto laser- evidently creating a much darker, turqouise tone- which is, infact, more visually representative of the original Pantone Green U swatch shade.

However, I originally decided to print in digital because 1) The print quality is far greater- no streaky inkjet marks for solid colours (of which my designs largely consist) and 2) Because scale is far less of an option- unlike the max A3 printers in the mac suites.

A comprimise, but an unhappy one at that. Please see PDF (CD) and Issuu documents for ideal printing outcomes and solutions, and how they would be presented and prepared in a professional print environment.
